Hello, I have a Hotpoint FFP187B fridge freezer which has started to get warm in the lower freezer section. I have unscrewed the interior rear panels and discovered the cooling element to be in a block of ice. I defrosted it and powered back on a lower setting on the dial and the freezer and fridge are back to normal but a week later I checked the element again and discovered ice starting to build up again on the element. I have seen the fan working but not sure if it’s the defrosting element or how to test.
