Hotpoint FFS70S Total Failure ! !

Hi folks. Hotpoint FFS70S frost free fridge freezer, Pentane cooled R600a, only 2 yrs old. Total failure, as if a fuse, but it is getting power to the first board on the side of the black tank ( compressor ?) 😳
Nothing works, no lights, no fan etc. Took off internal rear panel in freezer, not iced up or anything. I’m on disability, which is £75 a week, so £90 hotpoint service is currently out of reach. Can anyone help ? I am electrically competent, but know little of freezers. Any advice gratefully appreciated, many thanks, Nig.

It sounds like the main PCB to be honest 🙁

You could check the repairs@ link below for an Independant engineer which may prove more cost effective 😉

Thanks Dave, did that, but no-one in my area. ( Edinburgh ). Guess I’ll try yellow pages, but can’t help but feel thats a lottery regarding price versus knowledge etc. mMaybe I should wait until I’ve got the Hotpoint £90 saved up. At least it will be a set cost.
