Hotpoint Forno SHS 33x oven thermostat light

Hi, can anyone help please?

I have Hotpoint Forno SHS 33x oven. The thermostat light has been pushed through by a small child, leaving a hole in the control panel.

Does anyone know how to remove the control panel to gain access to the light to put back in place? I have removed 2 screws underneath the control panel but it won’t budge… thanks

getting into these panels can be a challenge. a lot of the time you have to remove the top to get in

As for the lamp you child has not pushed it in as that is not possible. there is an outer lens that goes into the hold from the front

and then the lamp unit clips on the back of this and holds it in place

That seems logical, so my best bet would be to lift the hob off to gain access then? Thanks for the reply

sorry answered without checking

this is a single oven
there should be screws round the door holding it into the unit
undo screws and pull oven out and remove top after disconnecting from supply

Yes, removed the screws around the door, pulled the oven out enough which revealed side screws which held the control panel in place. This gave access to the light! Now going to order lens cover. Many thanks Dave

check the lamp assembly inside look ok as they break with the heat over time.
