Hotpoint Fridge/freezer wet pcb

Hi, so today i went on a big food shop and typically i come home to find the fridge/freezer off! Anyway after opening her up ive found there is black mould growing on the pcb which im assuming is from water getting into the compartment so i am going to try drying it out but is this the most likely cause of the thing not turning on at all? (ive tried changing the fuse in the plug), I’m going to leave it until the morning and if it wont work i will see if i can get a replacement pcb on the warranty!
