    Hiyas,
Had a mate on the phone today asking about the wiring of the thermostat on this appliance. He denies it but I think he’s pulled all the wiring off.

New thermostat has terminals 1, 2 and 3 and he has a Brown and two black wires.

I’m assuming the brown is live, the other 2 should be fairly easy to work out but I’m stumped with the 1, 2 and 3.

Does anyone know which is live, compressor and light? or even have a wiring diagram?

Thanks in advance for the help.

    Brian 😀

Turn stat off ans see what switches what between terminals and 1 black is for the compressor overload the other black is for the interior light switch and brown is the compressor live.

    Hiya,
I would test it with a meter if I was doing the job, unfortunately I’m not and I doubt if my mate even has a multimeter. He’s one of the “dive in” brigade.

Like I said, it’s the numbers on the stat I don’t get. 3, 4 and 6 would have been no problem.

    Thanks
    Brian.

3 – Black to interior light switch
    6 – Brown live supply
    4 – Black to Compressor
