Hotpoint Fridge Temperature Problem

Can anyone help me – I have a Hotpoint Iced Diamond fridge (RL64N) it has stopped working the light still works but the fridge is not cold I have changed the dial but it makes no difference. I have presumed it to be a thermostat problem and wonder how easy they are to fit. I’m not an electrician but feel confident that if I am pointed in the right direction I will be able to fit it myself. 😕

Almost certainly the thermostat Dave.

We can’t I’m afraid give you specific instruction on how to fit it but it’s in the box on the side wall (where you turn the knob).

Part number is 261055 at £22 inc VAT and delivery.

I can order for you, an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get that moving or if you need an engineer to check it out for you, have a look at Repairs@ most engineers will have this type of thermostat as part of their van stock so there would be no need to order beforehand 🙂

If you are going to attempt the repair, please unplug 1st ! :zap:
