Hotpoint condenser dryer FTCF87BGG.

Does anyone know if an open circuit rear stat can cause the dryer to be dead like some of the earlier dryers?

Any technical info on this style please?

Don’t have tech info either but stat kit is exactly the same as has been used for years so chances are the neutral is routed through them.

Stat kit is C00116598.

Why don’t you try bypassing the stat to see if it comes on or resetting it with a small pin

I’m guessing that Tim hasn’t yet been out to this dryer and is just trying to arm himself with as much info as possible beforehand. 😉
