Hotpoint Future F/Freezer

Customer did not have model number at time of call. Says fridge and freezer not cooling very well and a symbol on the display has come up that he describes as “a pipe with water coming out”. Any ideas anyone?

sounds like it has cooled water or an ice maker. poss water switched off, inlet valve faulty, or if the evaporator is getting frozen up it may have frozen the water inlet tube. this could also explain the temp problems if the air flow is restricted????

This turned out to be an FF model with the thermometer symbol flashing on the display, warning of high temp in freezer ( due to lack of gas):rolls:
