ParticipantIts all been fine until today when all of a sudden I get the error code: F01 which upon searching is a control board error but could also be anything else that feeds into the control board, temp probe etc.
As soon as I turn the oven on at the breaker, the main top cooling fan runs as if the oven is red hot. On a couple of occassions i’ve got it to run the oven skips the preheat stage and just starts the timer going, no heat though.
I’m thinking its the temperature sensor, does this sound reasonable? Any other ideas? I notice there is also a thermal limiter the same as this, mine has scorch marks on it as its got hot, but then again i’d expect it to have:

Any help greatly appreciated.

KeymasterIf the cooling fan stat is kaput and the oven thinks it’s too hot then the fan will run constantly and you will get errors, you’d need to check that firstly. Most of them are open and close when the heat rises.
