Hello,I have a layer of ice in front of bottom shelf and every 2/3 days am getting small pools of water on the floor under front door, freezer is well tilted backwards. The freezer is 8 years old and the problem started about 6 months ago.Would appreciate any help or suggestions. Thanks Barry
Is the ice in the bottom of the freezer or is it underneath.
Slide your hand unmder the bottom at sides,if you can feel ice forming underneath then the insulation has broken down.
Not repairable if it’s the latter,if it’s the first option then you have hope !
Thanks for that.Ice is inside.Just had lining out and the drainage hole was iced up solid.Obviously been over flowing due to blockage.Quite a lot of red debris came out into evaporation tray when I flushed pipe out after it had thawed out.Fingers crossed for the restart !!
