ANyone have a magnet for the tacho of a DIGITAL GDA Hotpoint Motor? Must be the diigtal type one as the analogue one does not fit. I must have scrapped so many of these in the past and never thought to keep one and now am in need.

Hi Mark, I should have both but there are two sizes of digital magnet, one for the earlier type of tacho and one for the later, much smaller tacho that is held on by the small bridge across it.
Like the second two of THESE 😉

mmm…. confused .com here as I have removed one from a Analogue motor and its sits too proud of the generator coil that it rubs on the bracket that straddles it (so much so that you cannot fit the coil retainer bracket.). Yet according to that photo, the analogue one is the smaller. The one I need is around the size of the centre one in the photo but has hollowed ends to fit over the end of the armature on one end and for the retainer screw to sit in on the other end.

OK just taken a closer look and yes it is the thrid one in the photo, I can now see the recesses in it. Have you got one?
