Hello,
I have a Hotpoint HFC 3C26 W SV UK dishwasher which I regularly set with the built in delay timer to run overnight. Quite often, the machine starts to countdown as expected but then stops randomly before it gets to zero and instead starts beeping at 15 second intervals with the start / pause light flashing. When I notice that this has happened in the morning, opening and closing the drawers and then starting the machine manually (without the timer) usually solves the problem. However, sometimes this process has to be repeated 2 or 3 times to get it to work.
No error codes are displayed at any point (just the flashing start light and beeping) and there is nothing in the manual to suggest what might be wrong. I recorded the flashing lights and beeping this morning and uploaded it to YouTube to make it clearer what I am describing.
Does anyone have any ideas what is wrong?
