ParticipantI have got a problem with an 18 month old Hotpoint integrated dishwasher bleeping,
It is very random and different number of short/long bleeps. No pattern to it but it bleeps mainly in 3’s.
It can also start/stop the cycle and light on floor.
I have tried a few cycles with cleaning packets and it does run to the end (empties and drys) but it contantly bleeps and bleeps.
It’s driving me nuts, any ideas? Video below….

Hi Dave,
If I leave to run it drains fine (to bone dry) or if I cancel it will empty no problem at all.
No kinks in hose and I have rodded the drain hose and nothing is stuck.
I have also noticed it doesn’t respond to the start key sometimes and it takes a few button presses to get going.
I’m thinking control board but I have heard these require special programming?
Maybe it’s time for a new one (reluctantly)

Moderatorif it is the board it comes without software and needs to be programmed
are you sure its under 2 years old
you could look into the sale of goods act and see if you can get anything off the retailer. your contract of purchase is with them and thats why you approach them and not the manufacturer
there will be example letters online somewhere as you need to quote in the right jargon to make them listen
its a long shot but cant hurt
