got the above awaiting a repair. went thru it with a fine tooth comb.

replacing the pcb is a nono as its £300 just to have all the kit to do it.

found the transformer tf002 copper wire had burnt off from one of the main legs. resoldered a bridge and hoped itd be ok, and its still the same – dead F/F

tried looing online for a T/F that would match and not being experienced in this area, failed.

its a falco electronics ef16 1141 entry transformer.

can anyone sugest a place to source ?

and is it likely to have corrupted anything ? the rest of the board looks a1 bar some condensations soapy marks 😛

yes quality is a bit low

but from what i can see looks like it part of the power supply to the board. what has gone wrong with this transformer ?

As Dave says it does look like a SMPS power supply transformer, the image quality is too low for me to see anything properly but is there a fusible resistor on the board (in-line with the mains power to the board usually), if so check whether it is open circuit.

Give us a better quality image and then we may be better able to help you.
