Hotpoint – Iced Diamond

Hi all
I have the above fridgefreezer – Model No RF68P,and this last week the red light on the front has come on.
The freezer part is still working,but the fridge part seems to be warmer than it used to be.
Can anyone throw some light on this & if it would be repairable

Hi its me again,
Ok i have defrosted the fridge/freezer,and now plugged back in & switched on.
It started making the right sort of noises & i left it on over night.This morning the freezer seems cool not cold/frozen

Is this a thermostat problem or a dead unit?

if it is running, its unlikeyley a thermostat problem

more likely a system/compressor problem

Ok Cheers,sounds like a new unit then as it is about 7-8yrs old & probably not worth spending on

Liebherr will be my 1st choice i think
