    Adter 2 years successful working the motor is making a very loud (banging and rattling) noise. Turning off and on again succeeded only in slowing the motor slightly but still making very loud noise.

    Any help very welcome

    TBH, it sounds like a pro repair only if there’s a problem with the compressor as there is nothing you can do with it.
