You’ll probably wish you’d never seen it as well when you get in there, it’s an Ariston in disguise 🙁

Circulation pump dribbling or something along those lines no doubt.

Check on this machine, if its got the overflow straight into the base from the tub, and can cause motor problems. You will see the overflow in the base stands about an 1 1/2 inches high.

This can be caused when the filter gets blocked or when using 3 in 1 tabs (supersoft water) raises water level.

Overfill situ, straight into base and usually enough to soak the motor.
    As Indesit / Ariston.

I’ve seen a few Indesits which did this because they were leaning forward far enough to just tip a little water down the twin overflow pipes at the front. Sometimes it was sufficient to activate the FPS. When it wasn’t it would just slowly rust out the motor. Who designs this stuff? 🙁

My own machine flooded the base the other day. Only problem was a saucepan handle restricting the top spray arm.

The leak from the door seal run down the side directly into the base.

As you said… Who designs this stuff?
