New to this but here goes – I have the above and although the light’s working, nothing else seems to. It’s just over 3 years old and Hotpoint says parts are free for 5 years but want £89+ to repair. I’m thinking this may only need something little or ‘obvious’ but have nobody to seek advice from. Is going to Hotpoint my only option? Any ideas or advice greatly appreciated!

dependant on where you live depends on the cost of repair,the probable fault on the appliance will be the thermostat.
see if there is a engineer close to you in repairs@ and you will probably find that the total cost is below what hotpoint want as labour and it will be done a lot faster as well.
