    Hi,
    My dishwasher doesn’t come on. Mains is on, the programmer lights are on but it doesn’t start.
    I have shorted the door switch out, as there was evidence of overheating.But still it doesn’t start. Any suggestions?

    Main pcb in base faulty, broken wiring inside door panel?

    Many thanks.
    How can I check the wiring? How can I access the panel at the base, it seems stiff, there appears to be a PCB behind it. Is it an expensive item? Is it worth buying a new dishwasher, mine is 7yrs old.

    Visual examination of door harness after you have removed the mains plug and taken off the outer door panel.
    It is stiff, pcb is not cheap and needs a smart card and card reader to programme it.

    Many thanks for the information. Most helpful. I shall check the wiring. Then I guess down Currys for a new dishwasher!!!

    7 years out of a current Indesit isn’t bad going TBH. 🙁
