    Hello,

    I have a Hotpoint LFT114 dishwasher, and it was cleaning well but we have started to notice recently the pots were not cleaning as well as they have been, there has been a sandy like residue being left on the glasses and some of the pots not completely clean.

    I have taken the blades off and given and taken any blockages out.
    I have used limescale cleaner.
    Cleaned the filter
    Purchased some expensive dishwasher tablets.
    After all the above its still not improved.

    I then thought i would buy some salt, but then went to fill the salt container it was almost overflowing with water, is this normal?

    Yes, filling it with salt displaces the water, perfectly normal.
