Hotpoint LFT04 UK/TA Dishwasher Spray Arm Diverter

Good afternoon,

The above dishwasher’s upper spray arm will not rotate, and I don’t know if the diverter/valve is incorporated within the wash pump or heater assemblies.

When on a wash cycle the motor’s tone does not alter, hence I suspect the diverter/valve, as the supply piping to the upper arm isn’t blocked or damaged.

According to a picture in the manual the pump is connected to the ‘water dispenser’
but I can see no sign of this part in the parts diagram??

Thanks iadom,

I’ve ascertained that the “water dispenser” is also referred to as “pipe, wash motor to spray arm.”

I may need to return to make sure it isn’t blocked, and wonder if the problem is caused by a weak pump?

Found it, it just confused me because in the parts diagram it looks like a bog standard ‘Y’ piece, nothing at all like that picture. 🙁

The pumps are c**p on these though.
