Hotpoint LFT114 integrated dishwasher – error power light and lights 2 & 4 flashing

Hi hoping someone can help. We inherited the dishwasher with our house when we bought it so no idea of its age.
It worked fine before we went on holiday, came home and put a load in, turned on, selected cycle and it beeped to start and sounded like it was getting the water then a few mins later it beeped and stopped. The power and lights 2 & 4 were then flashing. I’ve tried it on all 4 programs and all do the same. Any idea what the problem may be?
Last time it was used everything was fine washed as normal then we’ve been on holiday, come home and first time I went to use it this has happened. Any advice would be appreciated.

A heating fault, most common causes on Indesit machines is either the heater itself or the main electronic control circuit board. The first thing to do would be to test the heating element, if that is OK then the pcb is the likely culprit.

Machine was made around 2008 onwards.
