I wonder if anyone can please help. I have had this integrated dishwasher for just over a year. I noticed that the cups felt a bit “gritty” so filled up with salt and rinse aid, just in case this was the issue. Last night I noticed the cycle had been on for much too long so I had a look and the dishwasher had loads of foam in it. I have not used any unsuitable products to cause the foam. I let the wash run but when I got up this morning the on/off light was flashing and lights 2 and 4 were on, which I assume is an error code. Of course Hotpoint just want to charge me a fortune as it is a week out of warranty. Any information would be very gratefully received.
Re: Hotpoint LTB 4M116 – Foam filled and error lights
Don’t have the error codes for such a recent machine but overdosing or spilling rinse aid into the tub will cause major oversoaping which may have flooded the base.
Lights 2+4 on the previous models indicates. Heating circuit, heating element, wiring connections, module, relay, pressure switch.
