    Hi All

My sister has a Hotpoint LTF 11M132 which of course is just out of warranty.

All power is there and can access all the programs etc but when door shuts nothing happens. She said there is normally a beep and the program starts but nothing happens and there are no fault lights or beeps
Have checked the drains and the outlet to the the waste trap and there is no water left in the dishwasher.
Could anyone help. Im thinking maybe the door switch but never had a bash at one before.

    Thanks.

switch is the first place I would look. to check it you would need to use a multi meter to check if the contacts are closing

    Cheers

Its integrated so is this accessed from inside or outside the door?

switch should be in the door at the top. you will have to remove the outer door first

Tried door switch and it checks out also wiring isnt broken.
Also found on another search a self diagnosis mode where you power on and off and hold P button for 3 seconds and is supposed to start testing each component but all seemed to go as planned but failed to start on closing door.

Apparently the fault did rectify once but failed after 3 uses and not worked since.
Check pump was clear also and gave wiring the once over.
Should a fault code just show up on LED or is there a mode to check stored faults.

    Thanks
