    Hi folks,

For the past few days, my Hotpoint LTF 8B019 dishwasher is stuck on a single programme. In fact, I can’t even switch of the dishware. The power button and the P (Programme) button do absolutely nothing when I press them. The only button that does anything is the timer button on the right. Oddly, this only powers off/on the dishwasher, but otherwise does nothing. When it was working correcrtly, the power button would function as normal and I could cycle through the different programmes by pressing the P button, but nothing appears to work at the moment. The rinse aid light is also constantly on, but the rinse aid is full. I understand this can take a number of cycles to clear, so might not be an issue. Just thought I would mention it.

I have tried powering off at the mains for 30+ minutes to see if thise will somehow force a reset of the controls, but no such luck. Is there some other way I can do some sort of factory reset or does this look like a new control board is required or something? Really appreciate any help. Thank you!

possibly the little panel below the buttons has got contaminated

remove board and look for water damage
    also
sometimes the push buttons go, you need to check them with a meter and a drip of wd40 worked in, can sometimes improve them

Thanks Dave! I’ll have a look at the control board for water damage. I might even leave it in a dry place overnight to see if it makes any difference.

The buttons fell normal to press, but I wil most certainly check this as well. Thanks for the tips 🙂
