Hotpoint LTF04 Error Codes

Hi, wondered if someone could help me? I’m getting the standby light and buttons 3 and 4 flashing. The dishwasher appears to be working normally when it actually switches on – fills, drains, heats the water etc and no bad noises. Many thanks.

3+4 is a communications error, bad connections or breaking wiring between the main pcb in the base and the control pcb.

Thanks for the quick reply. Explains why it works after repeatedly pressing the buttons and shutting the door. Is it economical to repair?

It may just need the connector plugs tightening up or if it is a slight break then that could be easily repaired.

It is an Indesit after all, not known for robust construction, the components and the wiring connections are rather flimsy. :rolls:

Yes I’ve been reading around on here and realised it isn’t actually a very good unit and seems to have a few known faults. Disappointing really. Still, I’ll have a look at what it could be and see if I can fix it somehow. Thanks for your help, I appreciate it.
