Hotpoint LTF11M132 Dishwasher – Fitting Top Rack

Really basic question but it’s not covered in manual.

How do I refit the top rack in my Hotpoint LTF11M132 Dishwasher?
I have put the rack on its runners and can push the rack inside the washer but the runners do not retract with the rack, they stay sticking out.

Im sure there must be a catch to secure this but I’m not sure and don’t want to force and risk breaking something.

They do move but they don’t follow the rack back in when I push it in. Hopefully the linked video helps illustrate the problem. It’s like something is not connected to the rails to pull them back in with the rack.

That`s because you`ve got the top basket the wrong way around!! Pull the basket out, clip the front rail stops out the way, and pull out the top basket from the rails and turn the top basket 180 degrees and refit.

Oh dear that’s embarrassing. I’ve really had a nightmare there.
I should have thought to check that. I still think it would do no harm to have it in the manual 😀
