    Hi guys, I’ve not been busy much, trying to cope with being the house husband and all.serious deterioration in the area of my operation. Anyway, if anyone can help I would be grateful. WMFUG742 Repair manual for wiring instructions for the door interlock as my pals has melted.
    Going to pop over and see an old Army colleague later this morning, Thanks chaps.

    if the connection blocks burnt out just do a one for one wire swop using standard amp tags putting an insulated one in the middle. not that uncommon.

    Hi Wilf the block is disintegrated getting it out was a complete nightmare. The connections are loose and free hanging.

    You will have to meter out the new interlock but its usually neutral thin red to number three. But dont take my word for it and there are two different types of lock on that machine.

    It’s a WMFUG720P UK.M 85931760000
    2 wires melted into one and the pins on what was left of the interlock are history

    New lock is C00309745 PTC type for 40CM doors. The connection numbers depend on brand of lock supplied, usually 2,3&4 or 3,4&5 on the Bitron locks

    PTC is on 2 (Bitron 3) — As Wilf notes this is the thin wire
    Common is on 3 (Bitron 4)
    Switch is on 4 (Bitron 5)
