hotpoint mistral ff80 not holding temperature

my hotpoint mistral ff80 is not holding temperature so im hoping you guys can help me along the way.

From reading the forum im not the first person with this problem with this fridge freezer. Freezer was keeping temp fine but fridge was going up to 14-16 for a while then coming back down. Yesterday freezer was going up to around -2 and fridge was ambient at 19-20.

Ive taken the front grill off and it was FULL of dust and stuff. ive hoovered it all out of the condensor coils as they were totally covered. Ive taken the freezer section back cover off and ensured its not frozen up or otherwise blocked.

The compressor was pretty hot to the touch, i could hold my hand to it but it was definitely borderline too hot!!

The fan next to the compressor which is blowing onto the condensor coils seems to be working fine.

Anything i should be looking for or any help in fault finding would be greatly appreciated.

after leaving it for the day and coming back the freezer is still -14 and fridge is ambient. ive noticed the fan in the freezer compartment is not doing anything. is that normal?
