Hotpoint Mistral Plus FF80P Thermistor Question

I have a a Hotpoint Mistral Plus FF80P. The compressor seems to run more than its off….I have no error codes, no leaky door seals…..The Question I have is if the Thermistor was not playing ball in the freezer the Green air temperature one I guess the compressor would run all the time…Is the Thermistor the same value item as the Yellow plugged one….albeit just a different coloured plug…..I guess it could also be low on gas….anybody had any joy with the refil kits

as far as i know fridges run more often than people think

there are fridge engineers on here who would know better

but the important bit is
have you got less than -18 in the freezer and between 2 and 5 in the fridge
