Sadly as no one here was able to advise me with my cry for help on my earlier post, I decided to combat the problem myself!
On removing the rear panel I descovered the normal problem of dust and fluff build up. Although the compressor was working the cooling fan was motionless.
So after a good hoover and clean up:
First I check the inline fuse, that was OK, checked to see if there was a supply voltage, yes there was.
Carefully removed the motor (which was a bit tricky, especially removing the fan propeller!) On dismantling the motor I discovered quite a bit of burnt dust inside.
Once cleaned and re-assembled everything now running ‘tickety boo’
So if anyone else here wonders why their Mistral Plus is not reaching its normal operating temperatures, Its worth trying this proceedure!
