A high freezer temperature (approx -10C) combined with a correct fridge temperature, is almost certainly a restricted condenser or a faulty compressor fan.
The compressor is overheating and cutting out on its internal over temp cut out.
Another indication of this problem is a very warm transom between the fridge and the freezer doors. There is a hot-gas anti-condensation heater foamed in and running close to the surface. If the compressor is overheating it always gives rise to a warm feeling to the cabinet at this point.
If you take off the kickstrip, I bet you will find a mat of dog hair!
Clean it out and problem solved.
