    Hi all.
    Its been a while since working on a domestic fridge .
    A friend has asked me to look at her. American f/f it appears not to be defrosting .have checked the heaters and have 85.5 ohms??? Need to put it into maual defrost. Any ideas how to do that also what else would I check need location of defrost timmer .do the heaters run througha klixon.

    Think it is a module, i had one doing the same had to fit a module it was almost identical to a whirlpool module, so must be made by them.

    whats the proccess with checking this has 6 wires…….. 2 brown 1 white for the fan and 2 orange and 1 blue for the heater.could be stopping power to the heater.The fan is working. ❓

    How would the thermostat/Bi metal switch work .both fan and heaters are wired through it and if it was o/s i didnt tink the fan would run or could thay be seperate curcuits ..Going to do continuity test tonight..
