Hotpoint not supplying this C00118765, offering a FOC call

Has anybody got information as to why Hotpoint are not supplying this D/washer door switch C00118765 back through suppliers, then offering to do a no charge inspection to the customers appliance.
is there an issue on the part’s they are supplying or is it the dishwasher. They seem to have witheld all deliveries and re supplying stock back.
Any info of what’s happening.

I know what they are asking, but why are they doing this, regarding the above part. Connect are also doing an alternative part to the Hotpoint one as well.

are they allowed to stop supplying parts I thought they had to supply parts for so many years after purchase.

they are not stopping supplying the part it has to be more than that if they are sending an engineer free of charge.

I have encountered Hotpoint dw faulty door switch, tends to burn around the connector. The dw in question was 2 years old. I wonder if they are seeing lots of them giving them cause for concern? I notice that it has plastic covering on the switch, not seen that one before.

Yep only had problems with the poor quality of the connector block. I generally cut these off and put amp tags on
