Hotpoint or Candy!!! Which is Best?

I am looking for an ew washing machine and after looking at both Comet’s and Argos websites, I have narrowed it down to either the Hotpoint WF440P from Comet or the Candy CNA156 from Argos.

I was wondring if anybody could recommend any of these machines, or another model for around £250. As long as it isn’t and Indesit

Hi Andy,
As Hotpoint is a part of the Indesit Company and there is an extensive cross-over between the machines they produce, that may not be the machine you want. Never personally been a fan of Candy washers. How about the Whirlpool AWM1404/4 for slightly less, or the Zanussi ZWF1221W for slightly more? Better still, take the budget up to £300 and get the Bosch WFO2467. Two year warranty is a good bonus as well.
