hotpoint oven

hi all

i managed to get hold of a hotpoint bs22p built in oven dispaly model which was being scrapped from comet a yr or so ago. as per the regs the wiring loom was dissabled. as a project i purchaced the elements etc.. to bring it back to its former glory as it’s in pristine condition sitting on my work bench.

does anyone know where i can get the wiring diagram from and where does the thermostat fit inside the oven??? top/bottom???
also is there anyone who knows where i can get spares, should i need them

Spares should not be a problem, asking here at UKWG’s is as good a place as any. If you look closely at the inner liners etc, you should see some small clamps or something similar to hold the stat, most stats are situated at the back, top of the oven. Unfortunately, wiring diagrams are copyright, so unless you can strike up a close friendship with your local Hotpoint/Merloni engineer you will find that your biggest problem.
