    Hi Guys
Been to look at this D/Oven. It all works fine, however once the oven has been on for about 5mins the lights behind the control knobs all flash slowly on and off (about a 5 second intevals). The clock doesnt flash and is working correctly. Any Ideas?
I have also been to an Indesit WIL133 W/machine. It fills up for a short burst then does nothing. If I reset it without removing the water it will fill some more and agitate both ways for ever more| Have checked all terminals and replaced main board but no change.

    Many Thanks Mark

Have you tested the heater on the washing machine?

No will do that but would that stop it from filling as these fill once, pause then carry on filling and begin to agitate. This only does one fill then dead

TBH one of the first ports of call for unusual faults should be the heater, insulation faults can give all sorts of problems, an O/C heater will cause it to sit there all day washing.

You should get error codes with most faults but an O/C heater will not give one.

    PS.

It might be better to put your oven question in a separate post to avoid confusion. 😉

It could however just be a faulty flourescent tube or choke, no fault codes on these basic machines.

    Jim.
