Hotpoint Oven doesnt reach temperature

Good Evening everyone.
The Mrs is at her whits end with our oven. So to get in the good books i would like to try fix it.

The Oven in question is a Hotpoint SH89PXS. It heats up fine, however it will never reach the set temperature usually around 50-100 degrees lower. Then after a while it will lock itself.

Not wanting to throw to much money in wrong parts. Please could you help me find the correct part(s) to replace to get it working properly again. Its never been right since new really.

well its one of those toss up jobs. since its heating ok which means the elements are not faulty its either

the temp probe part no C00269137 approx. price £20 from hotpoint plus p&p

or its a board fault and I cant fix them either as its a hotpoint fit only as they would need to be programmed
