    Hi, This is a touch control model and error code ER71 is displayed after a few seconds of switching oven on. It happens when selecting any setting. I’ve tried searching for the codes for this one but with no luck. Any pointers much appreciated.

    Cheers Dave. I did suspect display board. Removed the connecting wires and refit. Removed display board and cleaned the touch pads but with the same outcome.
    I guess it’s the display board then. Hotpoint say obsolete??
    Many thanks for the info though.
