Hotpoint oven turning off when I open the door

I have had a Hotpoint oven S19 891 SP IX with a touch screen control panel for about 2 years. When I am cooking and open the door the blast of heat and steam turns the oven off. This happens even when I have the key lock activated. It used to happen very occasionally but now happens almost every time I open the door. Any thoughts. Thanks

well there is a service bullitin on this so its a know problem

it involves changing one of the user interfaces ( which ever is causing the problem)

it gives part no 480121102685 (C00314591) for the part

can only find it on ebay at £130 and there are 2 of them in the unit and either or both might be causing your problem

At 2 years old I would talk to hotpoint as i would veiw this as a manufacturing fault but not sure of their interpretation

if not you may be able to go at the retailer under sales of goods act

Thanks for your reply. The retailer went out of business over the lockdowns so Hotpoint it is! Is the service bulletin easily accessible?

Presume if the cooker/oven is 2 years old the part should be under a 10 years part warranty if it was registered just after purchase. If so get in touch with Hotpoint. Though my dealings with this shower are a moot point.
