MY HOTPOINT OVEN STILL GETTING NO HEAT FROM BOTTOM OVEN
GOT A NEW ELEMENT AND FITTED BUT STILL THE FAN STARTS BUT NO HEAT
OPEN THE DOOR AND THE TEMPERATURE PILOT LIGHT COMES ON CLOSE THE DOOR AND IT GOES OUT
WITH DOOR OPEN OR CLOSED IM STILL NOT GETTING ANY HEAT AND STARTING TO GET VERY HUNGRY
AND IDEAS?

One of the leads that attaches to the element has fallen off I expect.

Did you fit it through the oven without removing the rear panel to access the leads ?

Check the door switch 😉

Although they normally cut the oven out completely, worth a look though.
