See the Hotpoint parts department is just as crap as their machines 😡 Got a customer who will only have Genuine Hotpoint parts from Hotpoint (Weird). Anyway ordered an element for her washer drier on the 3rd (In stock)but it still has’nt arrived, so I emailed them yesterday but got no reply. Anyway as she’s on my back for her machine I rang Hotpoint parts today, after waiting 15 minutes on the phone I finally get to talk to someone, only to be told that I would hopefully get the part by the end of this week. What a totally crap service 👿 If i’d used 1 of my normal suppliers I could have got it next day.

next time get the customer to order part herself

of course this also means the customer has to pay again if part goes under warrenty as you have not supplied the part

Actually spoke to her a bit earlier & told her what reply I got from Hotpoint, she agreed that in future I can buy parts where I want to & she won’t complain. Turns out that the idiot salesman in the shop told her that only genuine Hotpoint parts work properly in their machines & she believed him, what a joke.

It may be worth contacting Tracy Green in the Indesit trade parts team as she offers better trade terms for non account holders.
