Hello everyone!

I’ve got the above oven hood and I’m sick to death of replacing the 2 x G4 12V 20W bulbs. As a solution, I recently purchased some LED G4 12V 3W bulbs from Amazon and unfortunately they do not work. I tried multiple LEDs from the packet to no avail. All we get is a flicker then they turn off. So I’m wondering if this hood will only ever support 20W Halogen bulbs. Is there something I can do or a brand of LEDs to try that will work in this hood?

diagram shows a seperate power supply transformer for the lamps

this has to be replaced with an LED freindly unit as LED’s need DC voltage and the chance are the output from the current unit is AC
when you plug in the led units make sure they are the correct way round as they only work one way
