    Hi the following freezer runs for a while cools then trips rcd.any ideas got it secondhand.

    On this model as long as no water has got onto the electrics then the only thing that would trip the Rcd would be the Compressor.

    This would not be a cheap or DIY job to replace the compressor.

    If you have had it standing for a couple of days the electrics would have dried out so it is most likely a compressor fault.
