    Hi,

Any clues as to the fault with a Hotpoint RF66P fridge section trying to be a freezer? I have a feeling that the pot behind the temperature adjustment control might be intermittent as if you give the control a waggle things seem OK for a while but will enventually go back to constant (AFAICT) cooling, heavy ice buildup on the back wall and frozen lettuce in the salad drawers. B-)

If it is the pot how do you get access? The front plastic cover doesn’t have an obvious means of fixing/removal. Many thanks.

    Dave.

You will only get the pot from an electronics supplier, Hotpoint themselves only supply the complete PCB at around £150 😯 😯

Assuming that is the fault of course 😉

We can’t tell you how to take it apart I’m afraid, if you need help, please check the repairs@ link below 🙂

    Dave.
