    hey there , ive this fridge /freezer 8 years now , starting to make a bit of noise at the compressor , also freezer is not getting cold , dead duck ??? any advice on parts prices for a compressor ? thanks

    Compressor fitted would knock a fair hole in £200.Time to go shopping,best of luck!

    ok that sounds expensive , a new fridge can be got for 350 euro thanks
