Presuming Beko are unwilling to fix my Beko Frost Free F/F for free! I am looking at purchasing another F/F (avoiding frost free this time!)

Any views on the HOTPOINT RFA52P?

There appears to be two types with the same model number on market – I guess one is the older version.

One has solid freezer and salad draws but is cheaper and come with 5 year parts and 1 year labour warranty – £199 + £15 Delivery Empire Direct.

The other with clear draws – looks nicer – but only 1 year warranty – £229 free delivery – Kitchen Science.

Any recomendations or tips on what makes to avoid in this price range £200-250.

Ideally need a cheap f/f to last about 4 years or so until we move house at which point we will get a new one!

    Cheers Jules

    Hi Jules

The Hotpoint in question is about as good as anything else out there at the moment in that price range. The version with the clear drawers is indeed the latest version, it`s only been out for a couple of months. A nice touch, is the two middle freezer baskets have blue handles which double up as ice cube trays. As far as the guarantee goes all Hotpoint appliances have a one year labour and five year parts cover.
