Hotpoint RFA70 high temp light on

Hi All,

The high temperature light is permanently on, even with the temp set at the coldest level.

The physical symptoms are that the top section of the freezer compartment is iced up, while the lower sections are clear, no frost at all on the pipes / grills.

Also the area between the freezer and fridge compartments is warm, almost hot.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you have either a slight refrigerant loss or a poor performing compressor,you can search here for your nearest engineer.
