Hotpoint RZAV21…Temp control advice needed!

Have just purchased the above freezer “A” energy rating replacing a Bosch “C” energy rating, thought this new freezer would be on less than the old one, but having checked it, it is cycling on and off consistantly, averaging 6 mins on and 22 mins off, even if the door is not opened at all …………does this sound right, the hotpoint man called today for something else and he did not seem to know!! thanks

Guess nobody knows the answer to my question…………therefore does anybody have the same freezer , if so could they check for me time on and off, that would help…….cheers
