ParticipantGood morning,
Wondering if i can obtain some help with a fault on the above slimline dishwasher?
The fault is the appliance shuts down after around twenty minutes of perfect operation. (drains, fills, washes, heats) then it shuts down completely, (all lit lights go out) and cannot be switched back on.
My customer tells me that it will power up again after an hour or two, and i suspect the board, which recovers after this time?
However, i would like to know for sure as a replacement is very expensive, and don’t know if i should be looking at other causes.

Good morning Dave,
No, but when the dishwasher shuts down, power remains along the flex.
I checked the above when the fault occurred to be sure.

assume you have also checked live and neutral up to the board so i agree with you it does sound like a board fault

I’ve just replaced the main board, and programmed it accordingly.
However, the dishwasher will not now switch on!
When programming the board, the panel lights all flashed at some stage of the download, which was successfully carried out.
I’m wondering if I’m missing something obvious, or haven’t done some procedure following the download?
The wiring to and from the display module is fine, so i wonder if this has failed for some reason?

When you program a module you need to leave it unplugged for at least 2 minutes after programming the fault you explained in the 1st post sounds like the machine is going into standby so I would say module fault these new arcadia modules are a right pain

Struggling with this one.
Not sure whether their is a problem with the new main control board, or if the display unit has failed. (looks ok/no heat damage)
I wish we could test such things conclusively!

ParticipantHotpoint Dishwasher Board Programming Related Problem
Good morning all,
I’ve renewed the main board on the following: Hotpoint SDL510G Dishwasher (36685980000) but now it will not switch on.
The module was programmed satisfactorily, and completed the download with the solid green lamp on the reader illuminated.
However, the dishwasher will not switch on, and I wonder if I’m missing something obvious following the above?
I’ve checked the wiring to and from the display module, which is fine, together with the connections on the main board.
Now beginning if there is a problem with the new main board, or if a fault has coincidently developed with the display module…
Any help much appreciated!
